GLASSWARE

Actual petroglyphs (ancient rock carvings) are the inspiration for my glassware. Using years of personal sketches as a guide, I apply resist to top-end restaurant ware, sandblast, then clean and buff each piece to a satiny finish. All work is done by hand, by artist D.L. Horton. The resist is destroyed during the process. Each piece is unique, functional art.

DICHROIC GLASS

Dichroic is a fascinating glass that flashes different colors from changing angles. This art glass is combined with compatible glass, fused to 1250°F - 1600°F then annealed for beautiful, durable adornments that glow and sparkle with colors. I etch and hand-engrave Celtic knots and Mimbres pottery patterns into some pieces. My fused dichroic glass jewelry includes far more styles than pictured here, including mosaic barrettes, rings & money clips.
