Norm was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. Pat was born
and raised in Binghamton, New York. They both migrated to New
Mexico where they met and were married in El Paso, Texas on February
29, 1968 (yes, we decided to get married on leap day). Click here to see how we celebrated Leap Year
2000.

Norm retired from the Navy and Pat retired from government
service. Currently reside in Las Cruces, New Mexico where we
have lived since 1969. We are now enjoying the fruits of our
labor. We both enjoy woodworking and since retirement in 1992
have done an extensive remodeling of the home that we have lived
in since 1976. In addition to adding a workshop (which also can
be used as a garage) and an additional two-car garage,
the interior has had a face lift which we did together. Norm's
other interests include cooking, detailing the cars, and working
on very large jigsaw puzzles. Pat's interests include playing/working
on her Macintosh computer, and watching sports and movies on
TV. And we both enjoy the interaction with Peaches, which takes
up a lot of our time. But when the weather is nice (and it is
most of the time), we get into one of our fine vehicles to cruise
the streets of Las Cruces and surrounding area. Since purchasing
our first Mercedes Benz in 1995 we have been members of the Mercedes Benz Club
of America (for those interested in joining MBCA, please
tell them you saw it here and give them my name as your sponsor)
and are very active in The
Border Star SL Club of Southern New Mexico and West Texas,
which we organized in 1997. This club is for SL owners only (for
those uninformed persons it means a Mercedes-Benz roadster -
top down kinda cars) and we currently (Aug99) have 20 members.
