Administrative Committee Minutes

April, 2015

The Committee did not hold a formal meeting in April, because various members were out of town much of the month.

The members reviewed the monthly financial reports on line. 

On March 23, after the offering count, Lyn, Winnie, Nancy, Bill, and bookkeeper Vanessa met with Gerald Hinderlich of Digital Solutions to discuss web, Facebook, and Twitter services and the use of QR codes by the Church.  They would host the web site for $25 per month. They can do search engine optimization, brochures, and other marketing materials for around $5,000. 

Winnie, Vanessa, and Nancy participated in an hour long Webinar presented by Church Builder.  Demos for each financial area of the church were discussed and demonstrated.  Options for contacts, programs, advertising special fund raisers and events.  Benefits to Session, ministers, deacons and other leadership groups.  

Linda’s computer has been replaced with an up-graded version and is ready to be networked to Vanessa as soon as files can be updated.  This will allow both to work on the same member/contributor files.
