Buildings and
Grounds Minutes
Nov 11, 2014
We discussed
several topics. The water leak that was discovered in the kitchen
dish washing area earlier has been repaired. As we assumed, a pro
was required to repair this problem. Cost of repair was $200.
As we suspected, our small group of B and G is certainly not
adequate to maintain all FPC facilities. We have 24 AC/heating units
which require maintenance. Dennis has been talking with
Gilbert Espanosa about maintaining these units. Cost is estimated to
be about $3000 per year.
A member of the
Hispanic congregation recently completed some cosmetic masonry work.
Our thanks to him.
Dennis repaired a window on our biggest bus garage recently.
Excess older chairs
have been offered on Craig’s List on the internet. We also still
need to sell pews now stored in the garage. A bunch of old
electronic/computer items were found stored in the building where
the new Day Care is set to start next month. Pastor Norm in a brief
visit suggested they be turned over to member Roger Jones who runs a
business in electronics. Dennis is to contact Roger and hopefully
solve this problem.
Respectfully,
Roger L. Sellers
