A Transaction report is being generated for Salt and
Light as an addition to budget and designated funds information. Memo
section of transaction report is to use line item numbers for better
tracking of monies for making future decisions. Mark is looking into
doing the same for the youth funds.
CE received a correspondence email from Judith Ames.
During her absence she will not be preparing or teaching in Branigan Hall
for Sunday School. She spoke of the necessity of having someone do
what’s needed. The CE committee will address these necessities in her
absence. CE wants to convey thanks for all she does for the children.
During the summer, preschool and elementary Sunday school classes will be
separate instead of having a multiage Sunday school class. Adult class
numbers are staying consistent.
Special Programs:
The last S&L, April 14, will be a tailgate party with
food and fun activities. Everyone is welcome! The S&L youth will
practice after supper for the Musical during services on the 18th
of April. The following Sunday will be the S&L Luncheon after the
church service.
VBS will be taking place June 14-18. The theme
will be “County Fair” from Gospel Light. The planning stages are
underway. Volunteers are needed for a variety of activities and the
registration process is getting finalized. Decorations were also
discussed as to the type, the making and setting up.
