A double symbol for the Holy Trinity. Here the
equilateral triangle has three equal sides and three equal angles. This shows the equality
of the three persons of God. But all three parts join together to form one figure. This
shows the unity of the Trinity. The overlaid figure is a trefoil made up of parts of three
circles, which again shows the three persons of God. Here also the parts join to make one
figure, showing the unity of the Trinity.
The grapes represent the blood of Christ as part of the
Communion.
The scroll represents the Bible, especially the
Old Testament.
