Meeting was opened with prayer at 7:30 p.m.  In attendance were Bea Conner, Lon Anderson, Stephen Taylor, Kathy Story, and Nora Yaryan.

 

1.      Nora led a discussion on planning for the Presbytery meeting.  The estimated number of participants have doubled since the previous estimate.  Set up will begin Thursday, the 16^th. Registration will begin at 12 pm on Friday, Feb 17.  Main activities for our committee to help with are serving a catered meal, sack lunches, coffee, snacks, water, shopping preparations, setup, clean-up, and helping out delegates as needed. 

2.      Stephen discussed Meat & Eat potluck for new members, scheduled for March 18, after worship.  Assigned tasks are these: (a) Stephen to get addresses of new members going back 2 years (b) Kathy to design invitations for new members (c) Lon to plan ice-breakers (d)  Stephen makes announcements 2 weeks prior to event and makes sure it makes it into various church publications

3.      Children’s Easter Egg hunt:  We already have plenty of eggs, will ask for donated items to fill the eggs.

4.      New business:  Discussed MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) as a potential outreach activity.  The committee decided not to pursue this activity at this time.
