Congregational Life and Outreach Committee meeting

August 14, 2012 - 7 pm

Meeting was opened with prayer by Stephen Taylor.

Excused: Lon Anderson

Present: Stephen Taylor, Nora Yaryan, Kathy Story, Bea Connor and Donna Mathis

Discussions were about all of our recent events this summer and the upcoming events.

In June we held the congregational hymn sing, in July the ice-cream fellowship, also the Klement's mission report along with the International pot-luck dinner, and in August the backpack blessing.

Upcoming events discussed were the Trunk or Treat on Oct.31. We will invite Kristine (Salt and Light Administrator) to our next meeting to co-ordinate with us in this event.

Committee will ask Linda to procure a price for Jumping Balloons.

Also, we will notify Linda to remove "Meet and Greet" from the church calendar on Sept.23. as we will plan this event at a later date.

Meeting was closed with prayer by Nora Yaryan.
