1.       Graduation and Mother’s Day Retrospective:  We felt like it went well; good turnout, etc., did not identify any areas that needed improvement.

 2.      Picnic and hymn sing: a. Kathy will not be there for the next planning meeting.  b. Salad sign-ups are these: Kathy: chicken salad, Bea: fruit salad, Lon: ham salad.  Will fill out more salad sign-ups via email. c. Lon will submit articles to publicize d.  Talked with Music and Worship team and they said they would take care of the hymn selection and lead the singing, with Howard playing piano. The idea is to promote some of the new and old hymns in the new hymnal. e. Bea will buy bread.  Drinks will be tea, water, and fruit punch. f. We will use plastic and paper to serve. g. The congregation can bring sides or desserts.

 3.      Added father’s day event on June 15.  Bea will buy a cake, to be served during after-worship fellowship. This will be in addition to the regular folks who are on the hook for the fellowship time; but it will make their job easier, since they need only bring a few treats, plus drinks and set-up/clean-up.

 4.      New banners:  The team decided to purchase new banners to periodically put up for advertising in front of the church.  These do not have to be associated with a specific religious holiday, maybe a monthly theme, maybe part of the vision statement, etc.  We will throw around some ideas and designs via email.

 5.      Advertising through farm and ranch museum:  This seemed like a good idea to give it a try, especially if we are one of the few churches on the flyer.
