1.      Trunk or Treat Retrospective:

a.       What went right:

a.       Food, and all 400 hot dogs were given out

b.      New location at west parking lot was better

c.       Great congregational support

d.      Music

e.       Better lighting

f.       All booths were popular (golf, fishing, photos, frame making, dia de los muertos, jumping balloon, cookies, costume contest)

g.      Bibles given out (but we did not give all of them out, still have 2/3 remaining)

b.      Areas for improvement:

h.      Fix lights near south Narthex

i.        Fix popcorn machine (microwave popcorn was popular, but not optimum)

j.        Could have a couple of new booths, will make booth suggestions to encourage this

k.      Start time at 5 was too early, suggest start time of 6 next year

2.      Designated funds for outreach (approximately $3000)

a.       Portion was spent on buying bibles, better Trunk or Treat advertising, and enhancements to Trunk or Treat

b.      Mail out advent activities to members and for members to forward to friends

c.       Enhanced advertising for advent

d.      Other ideas – still percolating

3.      Soup and games

a.       Set up at 9 am

b.      Clam chowder, corn chowder, sausage & veggies, posole, chicken chowder, broccoli and cheese, ham and potato, gumbo

c.       Plan to serve at least 75 people total
