ANNUAL CONGREGATIONAL MEETING

SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 28, 2010

1. The Congregational Meeting for the First Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.),

    Las Cruces, New Mexico called by the Session to:

   a. Present the revised Church By-Laws to the congregation for comment, changes, and vote.

   b. Review and vote on the terms of call for Reverend Norm Story

                convened at 11:37 AM on Sunday, February 28, 2010.

    

   1. A quorum of the congregation was determined to be present.

    2.   Reverend Story acting as moderator, opened the meeting with prayer followed with an explanation of the two objectives for the meeting.

    

   3. Mr. Carl Connor, moderator of the session’s administration Committee provided a brief history of the Church’s by-laws and the rationale for the proposed revisions. There were no questions or changes from the congregation and the motion was made to accept the By-laws as presented. The motion was seconded, and approved.

           4. Reverend Story and his wife Kathy excused themselves from the meeting and

               Mr. Carl Connor presented the Terms of Call for Reverend Story which was;

             Social Security Offset                   8,764.86

                           Sub-Total                                            $58,917.12

             Reimbursable Items:

             Ministry Expenses                     $ 5,000.00

             Medical Deductible                      1,950.00

             Medical and Pension                   18,761.35

                           Sub-Total                                            $25,711.35

   Total Package                                                    $84,628.47

    

    Mr. Connor asked if there were questions or comments on the terms of call, and there being none, it was moved, seconded, and voted to accept them. He closed the meeting with prayer at 11:47 AM.
