FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH (U.S.A.), LAS CRUCES, NM

CALLED CONGREGATIONAL MEETING

SUNDAY, JULY 25, 2010

 1.   The Congregational Meeting for the First Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) called by the Session for July 25. 2010 to receive the report of the Nominating committee met in the sanctuary immediately after Church service.

2.   A quorum of the congregation was determined to be present.

 3.   Reverend Richard Schlater, H.R.; acting as moderator opened the meeting at 11:38 AM with prayer.  He explained the purpose of the meeting and asked Ms. Dina Schroeder, to present the list of Church Officer nominees.  Before she did that she explained that the other members of the Nominating Committee were out of town and she was the only member present. Ms. Schroeder named the following as nominees for the offices of deacon and elder:

                  Deacon            Class of 2011

Corina Armendariz (filling an unexpired term)

                  Elder               Class of 2012

Stephen Taylor (filling an unexpired term)

 4.   There being no nominations from the floor, it was moved to elect the nominees by acclamation. which was seconded, and passed.

 5.   Reverend Schlater thanked everyone for their participation and adjourned the meeting with prayer at 11:47 AM.
