Presbyterian Campus Ministry

Presbyterian Campus Ministry enjoyed our busiest and most exciting semester this past fall. The following highlights were included in our end-of-the-year report.

*Our musical Praise Team went "on tour" to several churches in addition to serving Northminster Presbyterian Church on a weekly basis and providing the music for their first service.

*We had over 70 folks show up for our kick off Bar-B-Que.

*Again, we had great intramural teams in campus activities.

*We collected hundreds of pounds of food for six families who lost their homes in an October fire.

*We enjoyed a retreat to Lone Tree Bible Ranch in Capitan.

*Several of our students are working actively in Young Life (and David serves on their board).

*We enjoyed several hikes in local mountains.

*We had a great car wash during the Renaissance Faire.

*We had a float in the NMSU Homecoming Parade.

*We participated in a morning men’s prayer group.

*We had student-led Bible studies in the residence halls.

*We had a successful Christmas tree cutting trip (30 total).

*We had communication with 200 students encouraging church attendance, inviting them to our Wednesday night student fellowship meetings and other activities.

*We had student interns in our counseling programs.

*We provided formal counseling to eight students.

These are exciting days for our ministry and we appreciate your support of our efforts through your prayers, interest, and donations.
