Las Cruces Soccer Referee Association General Meeting

Date:   April 12, 2006

Call to Order at 7:00 p.m._

Approval of the Minutes for the General Meeting of March 8, 2006, was motioned by

Terry Richards and second by Rick Hendricks.

Treasure Report was submitted by Gary Manley.

High Noon Soccer League Report: - City Cup scheduled for April 22^nd and 23^rd, 2006.

Mesilla Valley Soccer League Report:   -Andy Bristol needed referees for Friday’s games.

Assignor - Handed out the game schedules for referees attending the meeting to initial and okay games scheduled for.   All games reports for games in March were submitted.

State District Referee Administrator Remarks- Gary Manley present, nothing to report.

Assessors Remarks: Monty Wellborn reported that assessors would be out at the fields looking at the new/young referees.

High School Referee Report: High School meeting to be held after the general meeting.

Old Business:  Jose Briones was introduced.   Jose was a referee and has returned to Las Cruces.

New Business: Ordering of flip coins with referee logo was discussed.   Cathy Short and Joe Fleming to look into the ordering of these coins.

            Pat   Switzer announced that Veronica Strndova was selected NM Youth Referee of the Year.   All expenses paid to go and referee at the Far West Regional Tournament.

            Rick Hendricks commented that all referees whom are players should refrain from  addressing the referee doing a match by his first name.

Training  was conducted by Tom Duttle regarding “positioning” during a match.

Drawing:   Winner was Gary Manley.
