Briones and 2nd by Gina Gomez to accept the annual audit report. The motion passed.

The MVSL will begin the spring season on Feb 25, 2010. Any refs interested in working adult men’s games should contact Bill Lindemann for assignments, or Martin Carrillo for women’s games.

No report from HNSL.

No report for high school officials.

Old business: The tabled report from the Dec. meeting concerning the LCSRA donation to the Kevin Riedel Scholarship Fund was discussed. Lisa Willman gave a brief report on how the fund was started, named some of the recipients from previous years, and that in her professional (CPA) opinion, our group could donate the funds and not jeopardize our financial stability. President Lindemann called for the motion, and the motion passed.

New business: HNSL will pay for a field/referee coordinator for the U6/U8 fields for the upcoming Spring 2010 soccer season. This person or persons will be present at the field to assist referees with rule interpretations, mentoring, and coordinating referees with possible changes to the schedule that might happen throughout the day.

The assignor Gary Manley asked that conflict sheets be submitted by email so that he can assign games for the upcoming season. Training was presented by Nigel Holman. The youth referees were to meet briefly following the regular LCSRA meeting to discuss input and ideas relating to the youth referees.

Adjournment of the meeting at 8:15PM.
