Las Cruces Soccer Referee Association General Meeting

Call to Order at 7:03 p.m. by President Gina Gomez.

Treasurer Report: Gary Manley gave an ending balance in the checking at $3,328.99 and the savings has over $4000. There are about $970.00 in unclaimed checks. Approval of treasurer report was moved by Jose Briones and second by Joe Fleming
High Noon Soccer League Report: None.
Mesilla Valley Soccer League Report: No checks available tonight.
State District Referee Administrator Remarks: Gary Manley informed us that the State Referee meeting is July 25 and the State Clinic is August 8-9. High Noon is requesting two clinics for new referees. High Noon is requiring each team to have a representative referee. There will also be a clinic for grade 9 in Deming on August 29.
Assessor Remarks: None
Youth Referee Information: None.
High School Referee Report: Robert Gage mentioned that returning referees should have had their form and money in already. If you have not done so it will cost you another $25 as a late fee. Anyone that wants to become a H. S. referee should contact him or Gary Manley. There will be a clinic in August.
Old Business: None
New Business: Tom Duttle informed us that the Indigenous Soccer tournament will be July 30 - August 1. Andrew Bristol will be assigning the referees for these games. Robert Gage reminded everyone that there will be a 3v3 tournament on August 1 to benefit the Las Cruces High School Booster Club. The tournament will be at night and Robert will be scheduling the referees.
Training was conducted by Nigel Holman, SIAPOA is an acronym for evaluating tackles to determine whether a send-off is deserved.
