Call to order by Vice-President Andy Bristol at 7PM.

The posted minutes were motioned to be approved by J. Briones and seconded by M. Chizek. The motion carried.

It was noted that Nigel Holman had accompanied Malynda Chizek and Andrew Wong to the Community Foundation award ceremony where they were recognized as the recipients of the Kevin Riedel Scholarship.

Gary Manley offered the treasurer report stating that $3,544.80 was available but no activity had been reported this month due to no youth games being played.

A motion was made Gina Gomez and seconded by Patrick Montelongo to approve the treasurer’s report, and the motion carried.

There was no report from HNSL or the MVSL.

Gary Manley (DRA) reported that the state recertification clinic will be held in Albuquerque on Sat.8-7 and Sun. 8-08. The LCSRA will assist in gas money for anyone wanting to go to this clinic and takes another referee with them. President Lindemann stated that the Board had agreed to a maximum reimbursement of $50.00 for gas.

The High School season begins on Aug. 17 and that the rules clinic will be held on Sunday, Aug.15, from 3-5PM there in the same room, Gerald Thomas Hall, Room 200.

Nigel Holman conducted the training session with highlights from the recent World Cup and some clips from a “behind the scenes” video about the referees that worked the final championship match.

The meeting was adjourned at 8PM.
