LCSRA Monthly Meeting

March 14, 2018

The meeting was called to order at 7PM by President Dominique Gbogbo.

Minutes from the previous monthly meeting had not been posted yet.

The treasurer was not present so there was no treasurer report.

We started with a general discussion of particular set plays using the chalkboard and discussed various points of referee positioning and offside, using situations that occurred during the first weekend of play. Discussion also included the appropriate time to use the advantage call, when to call the foul and when to use advantage.

Xavier Chavez informed the group that referee mentors would be available on numerous games this coming weekend, and one could request a mentor or a development and guidance report from mentors as well. Focus would be on new referees for several weeks.

No report from the high school group leader.
