Membership Meeting 5/10/2017
President GboGbo called to order.

Raymond Burchfield motioned to accept April Minutes, Andy Bristol 2nd, motion passed.

President GboGbo discussed the need to recruit and train as many new referees as possible. We will be losing many referees to various things in the fall. Many of our young referees play High School Soccer and will not be available much of the time.

Bill Lindemann stated that NMSU has started a program for College Referees. LCYSL has hired an economic development consultant to help them.

Yosidel Sigler stated that he is in charge of a new City Indoor Soccer League for 3rd and 4th Grade level kids. The 1st season should start around January 2018 (hopefully). Referees will be needed and will be paid $18 & $20 per game for 3rd & 4th Grade respectively. Interested referees should contact Mr. Sigler at: ysigler@las-cruces.org

Training conducted by Bill Lindemann. Topics covered were Kicks from the mark to determine the winner of a match.
