Las Cruces Soccer Referee Association General Meeting

Call to Order at 7:00 p.m. by President Gina Gomez.
August Minutes were motion for acceptance by Jose Diosdado and 2nd by Joseph Fleming.
Treasurer Report: No Report. Tonight's checks for October games will be distributed by Andrew Bristol.
High Noon Soccer League Report: December 4-6 is the Copa del Rey tournament. Andrew Bristol and Rick Hendricks will be scheduling referees for these games. Andrew will send out an email requesting your availability for that weekend.
Mesilla Valley Soccer League Report: Dominique Gbogbo has checks for the MVSL games. MVSL appreciates the fine job that the referees have done this fall. If you have any problems with MVSL, contact Bill Lindemann and he will present them to the league.
State District Referee Administrator Remarks: The recertification test will be given tonight for those that have attended at least four of the five recertification classes. President Gina Gomez read off the names of those that were allowed to take the test. New referees do not need to recertify until next year. The recertification clinic for all other referees will be announced on the LCSRA web page and by email. There will be an Assignor's clinic on November 21st in Skeen Hall. This will also be posted on the web page.Assessor Remarks: None

New Business: The nomination committee chairman, Joseph Fleming, took nominations from the floor. Those presently listed as nominees are 1) President - Bill Lindemann, 2) Vice President - Andrew Bristol, 3) Director of Development - Nigel Holman, 4) Director of Assessment - No One, 5) Treasurer - Gary Manley, 6) Secretary - Gloria Marquez, and 7) Youth Representative - Victor Ponce and Patrick Montelongo.
