water_temp = 39 water_vol = Moderately High water_clarity = Clear
air_temp = 20 AM-50 PM weather = Clear
hatches = A few midges, but stonefly nymphs were on the move
details = Golden Stone nymphs fished deep were taking some nice browns in this tailwater just east of the California state line. It was a lot of work, with all of the streamside brush and relatively high releases (very few places to cross). Not a lot of fish, but they were good size (15-18"). I can't wait to go back in June to try the Owens and Kern!
