The Ray Charles is a staple on the bighorn. This pattern produces trout almost every day of the year and presumably got its name because even a blind man could catch trout with it.
		Hook: TMC 3769 #12-20 Thread: Red 70 Denier Shellback: Medium or large pearl tinsel Body: Ostrich Herl, color of choice, pink tan gray white orange
A variation is to rib it with a fine silver wire. This not only gives a ribbed effect but makes it considerably more durable.
