Wayne Eggerman's Garage, Cars and Restoration Projects

Note: We met Wayne via email/internet and because he has so many great cars and garages we had to put this page together for him so he can show off his work. All text was extracted from an email to us, so they are his words.

I show these cars at local and National shows, and have won a few awards with them.

This 32 Ford was built from the ground up as a pure street rod.
(Modern chassis, power train, and body.) A very powerful, fun car, but with limited interior space.

This 55 Chevy has been an ongoing project for the past 10 years, and I have used it to cruise historic Route 66. I grew up just a few blocks from RT. 66 here in Tulsa. In the last four years, I have literally spent months on the road in the 55 Chevy touring RT. 66. This car, and I have been from Chicago, all the way to Los Angeles - one historic mile
at a time!

I restored this 1964 Corvette Stingray. I have had the 64 Stingray judged, and certified by the National Corvette Restorers Society (N.C.R.S.)

I restored this 1962 Chevrolet Pickup truck.

1988 - 35th Anniversary Limited Edition Corvette - white with white leather. Even if you don't like corvettes you would probably like this one.

Audi V8 Quattro. The Audi was a great all wheel drive German luxury car. I just loved it! However, at a little over 100k miles, the maintenance cost became somewhat distressing, so it was traded.

I started the garage in 1988, originally as a 24`X 24` structure for the 35th Anniversary car. I hired the concrete work, the framing and roofing, and then finished the rest of it myself. It took several years to get it to where it is today. My girlfriend and I tiled the floor about three years ago. The tiles are industrial grade linoleum. I use this portion of the building as a work shop and display area. The workbench, and the walkway in front of the workbench are carpeted.

I built the garage that Tom Killgore photographed in 360° panorama. Tom took the panorama of my shop, not specifically for entry in digitalphotocontest.com, but because he was amazed that anyone would build a garage (and cars) like that.

Wayne recently added a new 40th Anniversary Mustang to his collection.

This year, 2004, is the 40th Anniversary for the Mustang and Ford has introduced a limited edition 40th Anniversary Package for the Mustang.
The Limited Edition Mustangs are Crimson (Metal Flake) Red with Adobe Beige Gold racing stripes, and Adobe Beige Gold GT Stripes on the side. They also include special 40th Anniversary plaques and embroidery on the interior. (All of the 2004 Mustangs sport a 40th Anniversary Fender Badge.)
