Dec. 4   –  High School Youth Christmas party at Mark & Julie’s home.

Do You Shop at Albertson’s?  If you are not using the stickers for the cookware, our church youth would like to have them. They would like to get some pots and pans for a family in need. You can put the stamps on Linda’s desk, bring them to the office, or mail them to us. Questions call the office at 526-5559.

Community Partners Cards are available in the office. If you shop at Albertson’s, please be a Community Partner! Just scan your little card at the self-checkout, or hand it to the clerk at the regular checkout, and our Salt & Light Co. ministry will receive a percentage of what you spend. The Albertson’s chain sends us a donation quarterly from the program.

Salt & Light Singers:   The children will sing during the Christmas Pageant on December 13. Contact Beth Borchert-Thomas at mayfieldhschoir@yahoo.com with any questions.

Continued Confirmation Class today for 6th graders on up!!

Do not forget the Confirmation class today after worship at 12:00PM. We will have lunch together, interact with the topic of the week, and learn what it is to really be a Christian, not just learn facts about Christianity.  Some of the topics we will be looking at include What is Scripture? What It Means to Be a Disciple, What is Worship?, How Do We Pray?, How to Serve, and How to Witness.

Donation Childcare and Gift Wrapping

8 am – 2 pm, Nov. 27th

Do you need to do Christmas shopping without having the kids around?  Then bring them to the church on the 27th of November and get some of that shopping done!  The youth will care for children 8 am to 2 pm on that day (maximum time per child, 3 hr.) We will provide snacks, and you may send a sack lunch if your child will be with us at lunchtime.

If you have gifts that you’d like to have wrapped, we will do that for you too. For more information please contact Mark at 526-5559 or fpcmark@zianet.com or Linda fpclinda@zianet.com

This event is a fundraiser, so donations of  wrapping paper, tape, ribbon, bows & tags will be greatly appreciated.   Put the 27th on your calendar and help support our youth.
