 Program Director:

The CE ministry team finalized the writing of a job description for a “Program Director” position.  The CE and Administration Ministry Teams finalized funding and terms of employment.  Gena and Mark are working on the advertisement for the position.

 New Business:

Report From the Youth Worker’s Conference

Mark was out of the office Sept 24 to Sept 29 to attend a youth leaders conference hosted by “Youth Specialties” in Los Angeles.  The theme of the conference was “Time”.  No matter how many hours we put in and how much we invest in the youth, WE CANNOT DO IT OURSELVES.  Mentoring youth (or discipline them) will give them a sense of belonging and connecting to the church.  Walking with an older wiser person will give youth the added ability to grow.  Mark welcomes any questions about the conference and of course prayers for the youth and his ministry.

 Advent devotional

Devotionals were reviewed and selected for advent.  Two devotionals were selected.  One of the devotionals was oriented for families and one was oriented for the congregation as a whole.

Closing: The meeting was closed at 8:15pm.
