MISSIONS MINISTRY TEAM

Minutes of May 11, 2010

 

The meeting was opened with prayer at 7:05 p.m.

PRESENT: Moderator Alex Burr, Blaine Goss, Lloyd Kirschenmann, Janice Sherman, and  Bob Taylor.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES: The minutes of the April 13 meeting were approved. 

DISTRIBUTION OF COMMUNICATIONS: Correspondence was distributed to the appropriate Missions Team members.

MISSIONS MAGAZINE: The latest issue of Mission Frontiers was distributed.

PASOS DE FE PROGRAM: It was explained that another church program conflicted with the scheduled May 16 visit of Rev. Robinson to discuss this project. It was decided to try to reschedule this program for the first part of September.

PEACEMAKING SEMINAR: It has not yet been possible to set a date which is acceptable to the three prospective participants. Efforts continue.

PENTECOST OFFERING: Blaine Goss volunteered to present a minute for missions on May 23 in support of this offering.

MISSIONS BOOKLET: Many sample pages were presented. Font and type size were selected.

OTHER ITEMS: There were no reports on mission activity or other items.
