MISSIONS MINISTRY TEAM

      Minutes of March 14, 2012

 

The meeting was opened with prayer at 7:05 p.m.

 

PRESENT: Moderator Richard Paul, Jacqui Jones, Kate Puckett, Rusty Smith, Mike Bartholomew, Alex Burr

 

Approval of Minutes – The minutes of the February meeting were approved.

 

Old Business

a.       Alex Burr provided the proofs for the mission book for the committee to review before its publication. Suggestions were made for additions and changes to be made. Check to see if all information is correct and up to date for the missions already in the last book.

NEW BUSINESS

a.       I let the committee know we have the April 29 after worship fellowship duties and the Deacons will set up a table to provide information for a local mission.

b.      Blaine Goss will give a report on the Gospel Rescue Mission in April.

c.       The One Great Hour of Sharing for Easter was discussed. We will have a minute for mission on April 1, 2012, an article in the Lantern, a brief note for the Good News.

 

ADJOURNMENT – The meeting was closed with prayer by Rusty Smith adjourned at 7:45 p.m.
