Missions Committee Minutes

June 12, 2012

Opening prayer time: 7:05

1. Approved the minutes for May 2012

2. Old Business

Update on Mission Book. We need a few changes to update the book. October is a good date as of now for sending the book out for print.

3. New Business

Norm requested that the mission committee to define what the committee does. We began to put this together tonight and will continue to work on it by e-mail.

We also discussed on how the Mission committee can work with Deacons to serve local missions. The mission committee discussed how this committee will coordinate

with Deacons mission subcommittee. We will continue to discuss the issues and work out the details to improve the church’s support of local missions.
