Missions Committee Minutes

January 14, 2014

 

Present:  Jacqui Jones, Mike Bartholomew, Collette Walz, Alex Burr, Blaine Goss

Excused: Jean O’Neill

 The meeting was opened with prayer by Mike at 7:03 p.m.

 The meeting opened with distribution of periodicals received during the last month. Blaine thought one flyer entitled “Son of God” could be useful in planning Sunday School classes.

 Financial Reports were received and discussed at length. Some corrections will need to be made before they are accepted.

 A Minute for Mission presenting the new Missions Directory was approved.  Jacqui will ask Kate if she would be willing to do this.

 The Directory will be put on line by Alex.

 Jacqui will check with Kate regarding the Missions Committee Annual report.

 January 19 is Fellowship Hour Missions responsibility.  Everyone on the committee is willing and able to help with this task.

 The meeting was adjourned with prayer by Jacqui at 8:00 p.m.
