MISSIONS COMMITTEE MINUTES

March 11, 2014

 

 

Members present:  Jacqui Jones, Mike Bartholomew, Collette Walz, Alex Burr, Blaine Goss, Jean O’Neill

 

The opening prayer was given by Jean O’Neill

 

The minutes of February 11 were approved as corrected.

 

Correspondence was passed to each member.  It was decided that only correspondence from missionaries and charities that we support will be displayed on the bulletin board.

 

Financial Report:  $100.00 was given to Doug Barron.

Jacqui was instructed to let Don Behnke know that there were discrepancies in the Mission Designated Funds.

 

Old Business:  Members declared the visit of Doug Barron extremely informative 

                          and enjoyable. A thank you note will be sent to him by Jacqui.

 

New Business:  Jacqui had written an article on Responsibilities of being a Session

                            member which she gave to Alex for the Lantern.

    

Missions Committee is responsible for publicity for One Great Hour of Sharing. 

An announcement will be made during Minute for Mission on April 13.
