Mission Committee Minutes

 November 11, 2014

 Members present: Jacqui Jones, Blaine Goss, Jean O’Neill, Michael Bartholomew.

 Meeting opened with prayer by Jacqui.

 Minutes of October were approved.

 The latest news from Barbara Trudell and the Pontiers was discussed.  The Haspels will be in South Africa recuperating until January, 2015.  As yet no one has volunteered to host the Harveys coming November 22, 23.

 Presbyterian Giving Catalogues will be available in the sanctuary until Christmas.  An article is planned for the “Good News” soon.

 The financial report was explained and accepted.

 November 23 plans for the Harveys include presentations during Minute for Mission, Adult Sunday School class, and at 12:00 during  sermon discussion time.  Blaine Goss will provide travel to and from the airport.  The church will provide housing.
