Missions Committee Minutes

April 14, 2015

 

 

Present:   Alex Burr, Collette Walz, Karla Martinez, Jean O’Neill, and Blaine Goss

After opening with prayer, we reviewed the expense report for March 2015, and the designated funds report.  One happy item this time was a designated contribution by someone in our congregation for one of our missionaries in Africa. Blaine will see that the money is forwarded in a timely manner.

As discussed at our last meeting, we have had recurring difficulty sending monthly support to a school in Mexico.  The committee voted unanimously to replace the budget line for the Priscilla School with our own La Iglesia del Pueblo ministry. This will allow our Spanish ministry to have a dependable monthly income, around which they can do their financial planning.

It was announced that our next after-worship fellowship assignment is April 19.
