Missions Committee Minutes

September 8, 2015

 

Present: Carol Goss, Alex Burr, Blaine Goss

After opening with prayer, we discussed the financial reports and talked about possible changes in the missions we support. At the October meeting, we will begin a line-by-line review of our current allocations and consider any changes that are warranted for the 2016 budget.

Next, we talked about Donna Evans’ visit for October 9-11.  When Blaine gets Donna’s travel itinerary, he will set a schedule of activities for her time with us.  We will announce, ahead of time, her visit to our congregation.

We finished our business by noting how our church is growing internationally with the Spanish speaking worshippers and the Korean worshippers.  Norm joined us and talked about the October 4^th World Communion Sunday service.
