I really can't say too much about The Downs.  It is located adjacent to the State Fairgrounds,  and occupies the 2nd floor of the facility. It's small, and doesn't have a unique atmosphere.  With the new Sandia and Isleta facilities only a few miles away just off Interstate 25, I am hard pressed to recommend driving into the heart of Albuquerque to visit The Downs.  It has been a couple of years since my last visit, so maybe things have changed.
