The pueblo style Casino  is located near the city of Taos, next to the majestic Taos Mountains.  The city is a world renown “artists” community, and worth a visit if you are up there.  Although the casino staff was very friendly, the facility is small, older, and lacked the excitement of other casinos.  I think part of the problem is that it is the most distant casino in the Albuquerque / Santa Fe / Espanola region.   After casino hopping around the area, where there is a casino every  20 minutes or so, you have the  long trek to Taos.   I'm confident if I went there more often, I would have a more positive attitude toward the Taos Mountain Casino.
