We had a very nice visit with Robert and Anne Boren. They
have retired in New Zealand and were back in the states to visit
some old friends and acquaintances. Robert, whom we met in Colorado
at a couple of M-B events in 1999, and Anne were on their way
to Arizona to visit some friends and stopped in to visit us and
to see, first hand, our collection of vehicles.
Although they did not stay very long, it was nice to meet
Anne and talk again to Robert about M-Bs. We also learned a few
interesting facts about New Zealand during their visit. We then
gave them the deluxe tour of Fort Waleke!
Robert and Anne are also owners of an SL and Robert is the
co-editor of the newsletter 'Round the Benz for the Pikes Peak
Section of MBCA.
After returning to their home in New Zealand, Robert wrote
a very nice article about us, our
home and our vehicles for the newsletter. Thanks, Robert.
