Dedicated Connections Web Hosting Dial-Up and ISDN Digital Subscriber Loop Technical Support

ZiaNet provides 56K (V.90) Dial-up Internet service in all of the communities we serve. All modems on our primary numbers are 56k. Connect rates vary depending on your modem, and the length and quality of your phone line. For information about ISDN see below.

  • Only $5.00 for your first month of service. Only $20.00 per month for 56K or $40 per month for ISDN.
  • All accounts include up to 5 email addresses for you and your family!
  • Up to 30 Megabytes of space on our web servers for your personal or business web site!
  • Unmeasured access to the internet (No per minute or per hour charges)!
  • Dial-up numbers throughout the state of New Mexico and in El Paso, Texas.

ISDN stands for Integrated Services Digital Network, a special digital phone line run to the home or office. ISDN must be ordered from your local phone company*. This special digital service provides two 64K channels (128K of bandwidth). Also, one channel may be used for regular telephone while the first channel remains connected to ZiaNet. Incoming calls ring on the second channel. When you are done with your call, the second channel can be used for data again.

You might want to consider ISDN service under the following circumstances:

  • You cannot get DSL at your location.
  • You need more than a 56K Dial-up for your business.
  • You get very poor Dial-up connections and have not been able to improve the quality with assistance from ZIaNet and the phone company.
  • You are running an installation with multiple computers networked together.

Click on the map at the top of this page to see if we provide ISDN connectivity in your town.

*ISDN Services depend on several factors such as availability in your area and the quality of your phone line! An ISDN Line must be ordered through your phone carrier.
