D Lazy 2 Carriage Rides in Ruidoso, NM

With sleigh bells jingling, the crisp air causing the horses' breath to fog and everyone's cheeks turning rosy, it is a great way to spend a winter evening in the mountains. A thrilling event for young and old!

Bring a camera, as the teamster will snap a photo of you and your companions on the sleigh with breathtaking Ruidoso in the background. He will then regale you with stories of the sites and history of our area or horse tales or he actually can be quiet.

Sleigh Rides depart from Martha's Fabrics' parking lot on the traffic circle at the west end of Sudderth Drive by the entrance to the Upper Canyon each evening starting at 5:00 PM. Blankets are furnished.

Reservations are recommended. Call after November 1st for reservations and information.

Sleigh Rides are $16 for adults and $8 for children 12 and under.

Martha's Fabrics

After being in business for 43 years in Artesia, N.M., Martha's Fabrics has recently relocated to Ruidoso. We are located under the red metal roof at the west end of Sudderth Drive aka (101 Vision Drive).

Our selection of fabrics ranging from silks to velvets, to western prints, to quilting cottons, and upholstery has to be seen to believe. Martha's is excited to be in Ruidoso and invites everyone to shop between the hours of 10:00 and 5:30 Monday thru Saturday.
