IRF510 VERSION
The very first version of the Ten Tec SCOUT, 1993–1994 production, used IRF510 Mosfets for the Q10, Q11, and Q12 PA drivers on
the Low Level Driver (LLD) board. In 1994, the IRF510 mosfets were replaced with 2SC2166 or similar NPN transistors for higher
reliability and easier alignment. Manuals for the IRF510 SCOUT version, dated June 1993, are rare and hard to find. The
schematics and LLD alignment procedures found in most manuals and online sources are for the NPN transistor version and ARE NOT
CORRECT for the IRF510.
The correct schematics and alignment procedures are on this page.
SCHEMATIC IRF510 VERSION. Rest of LLD schematic is identical to all versions.
