Clarissa attended NMSU and graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor of Criminal Justice and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. As a foreign language, she focused on German. She spent one month in Nienburg, Germany as an exchange student.  

While in high school and at NMSU, she was very active in cheerleading and cheer competitions.  She was a cheer coach for Vista and Picacho middle schools.   Most recently, she and Erika Kelly coached the cheer squad at Sonoma Elementary school.

Clarissa has been with the Hartford since December 2009.  She has a local Hartford satellite office and is currently a medical claims Customer Care Analyst.

I LOVE to dance!!   So much so that Clarissa and Danielle teach Zumba a couple of nights a week.

NOTE:  Both Clarissa and Danielle are currently taking a break as they both recently became new moms (baby Levin & baby Greyson)!!

Eleven-month-old Levin is learning how to walk and gets into everything!  He loves looking for turtles, big and small, in Grandma Nancy's back yard.

On July 9, 2016, Jeremy Cano graduated the CLC, Firefighter Academy 30.  Jeremy will pursue several months of EMT training. Pictured above (left to right) Mike, April, Ryu, Baby Levin, Clarissa and Jeremy.
